Flowers are such an important part of any wedding! Whether you’re looking for inspiration for your bridal bouquet or deciding on your table centerpieces, the perfect flowers are essential. Unless you’re a florist, you’re probably a bit unsure about which flowers are in season for your wedding. Luckily we got some advice from Wild Bunches Floral and compiled a handy guide of which flowers are best for each month!
Wild Bunches Floral said it can be tricky to definitively say which flower is in season at a particular time every year. Floral crops can change and vary both throughout the year and from year to year. That’s why it’s so important to hire an experienced florist for your wedding. They are constantly aware of weather changes, what growers are producing more or less of, and how that will affect the availability of certain flowers at different times. Wild Bunches suggests it can be helpful to have some year-round go-to flowers and then add in the flowers that are in-season at the time.
Read on to see some of our favorite flowers for each season and each month–as well as some great year-round options. We hope you enjoy these lovely florals as much as we do!
