My connection with Whitney started a couple years ago when she was a bridesmaid in a wedding I had coordinated. Her best friend referred Uptown Events to her, and we hit it off pretty quickly. From the beginning of my time working with Whitney + Brian, it was easy to see the love between them. And you’ll definitely see this for yourself in their wedding photos. Just see how Brian looks at Whitney- their love for each other and their loved ones is beautifully evident!
With the gorgeous Ivory Oak as a dreamy backdrop, Whitney + Brian selected a wonderful team of vendors to pull off their intimate event that centered around an amazing experience for their family and friends (all captured by Anastasia Strate Photography and videography from Cloud Craft Studios). The night kicked off with a ceremony full of special touches and live music from Danny Ray and the Acoustic Production.
The reception was a beautiful outdoor setting with a mix of gray farm tables and round ivory draped tables under a grove of trees, complete with crystal chandeliers and magical festoon lighting from Altared Weddings. The tablescapes featured vintage pink glassware, sleek gold flatware and other beautiful details from Bee Lavish + Premiere Event Rentals. A mix of sweet bud vases, repurposed bouquets, and taper candles from the amazing Bloom Bar really made the setting elegant, yet approachable. Guests dined under the stars and were served a lovely dinner by Royal Fig.
Despite the chilly temperatures that night, the guests stayed warm by lounging near the fire pits, dancing and celebrating while eating delicious desserts from Michelle’s Patisserie.
I helped Whitney with all of her design selections which included a nice blend of Ivory Oak’s in-house offerings + accents from local rental companies.
