Anavid Reyes joins Jessica Upton to see the ropes on what it takes to be a professional event coordinator. If you love planning parties and events, becoming an event coordinator might be the job for you.
Jessica Upton started in the wedding industry 10 years ago, working with local venues to plan weddings for couples in Austin.
“I then transitioned to owning my own business – Uptown Events and Travel – five years ago,” Upton said. “We specialize in wedding planning and added on travel services – helping couples with their honeymoon as well as helping plan their destination wedding here in the Austin-Hill Country area.”
